A Taste of Southern Brazil
What began as an eight-month stay in Dublin quickly turned into something much bigger. Ireland became our home. As we worked in kitchens and immersed ourselves in the vibrant food culture, we saw an opportunity: to bring the flavours of Rio Grande do Sul, from the South of Brazil, to Dublin.
In Rio Grande do Sul, Sundays are sacred. Family and friends gather around the BBQ, where grilled meats, and rich flavours fill the table. It’s a tradition we grew up with, and we wanted to bring that same sense of community and comfort here.
The name Gaucho’s is a tribute to the (gauchos), the cowboys of southern Brazil, whose spirit of resilience and togetherness inspired us. At Gaucho’s, every hotdog is crafted to capture the essence of those Sunday gatherings, flavour packed, abundant, and made to share.
What started as a brief stay became a mission to bring a taste of home to Dublin, one hotdog at a time!
